Trident Group’s Chairman Emeritus Rajinder Gupta Receives Award
20 December 2024: Prestigious ‘Vastra Ratna’ Award for Special Achiever has been given to Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the textile sector. As the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) commemorates its 70th anniversary, this honor recognizes exceptional exporters who have established top-tier textile businesses and elevated India’s profile internationally.
As a trailblazing businessman, Gupta has propelled Trident Group’s expansion into a multinational textile giant worth over $2 billion. His creation of the Takshashila Centre of Excellence, which offers training facilities and job possibilities to thousands of people, is a testament to his dedication to sustainability and generosity. His healthcare achievements also include the construction of the multispecialty Madhuban Hospital and the planning of giant medical camps, which have improved access to healthcare for a large number of people.
As the Chief Guest, the Hon’ble Minister for Textiles, Giriraj Singh, awarded the “Vastra Ratna” Award. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, India’s Textile Commissioner, was also present.
