Tirupati International Introduces New Series of Sublimation Paper & Inks
18 May 2022: Surat-based Tirupati International has introduced a new range of sublimation inks and sublimation paper. The company had showcased these products at SITEX in Surat early this year with a sprawling, elegantly looking stall. The new range of sublimation paper is suitable for apparel (lycra materials / polyamide / 100% polyester fabrics) to decorate sportswear etc, flags, banners, home textiles, and also hard substrates such as ceramics, metals, snowboards, etc.
The new sublimation paper comes in 55 gsm (LUCY) – 36 to 72-inch width, 65 gsm (LUCY) – 36 to 72-inch width and 100 gsm – 90 to 126 gsm (100-meter roll). These are coated sublimation paper for digital transfer printing with water-based dye sublimation inks. These papers offer high transfer yield, easy handling, high-quality contour, excellent stability, good for detail printing, etc.
Meanwhile, Tirupati International has also introduced new series of sublimation inks for use in large format printers, Chinese and Japan made digital printers. There are two product offerings, viz, Dx series (CMYK) and the 5113 series (CMYK, LC, LM). These inks are made for printing digital textile printing (fabric with more than 60% chemical fibre) and are suitable for printing dress materials, sportswear, jersey, home textiles, etc.
According to the company, these inks offer dry and wet rubbing fastness up to grade 4-5, perfect light fastness and washing fastness and there are no colours changing or fading. There is no clogging or no mis-inkjeting, and ink particle sizes are evenly distributed and less than 300 nm. The ink production undergoes strict quality control and raw materials are imported from Europe and hence non toxic, eco-friendly and offer a wide gamut and good transfer performance.
