Blood Donation Camp organised by M-Tech Innovations, Pune
18 April 2021: The office staff, management, factory workers and family members of M-Tech Innovations Ltd., Pune, recently joined forces for its 17th Blood Donation Camp. Organised on January 17, 2021, a Sunday for the convenience of all participating, from 10 am to 6 pm, the blood donation activity was carried out at two places – M-Tech Innovations Ltd. (Hinjewadi) and at Balaji Nagar, KK Market, Pune. The 2021 edition of the Blood Donation Camp was successfully organised and 253 bottles were collected from blood donors.
The theme or underlying message conveyed was ‘Spare Only 15 Minutes and Save 3 Lives.’ All the stipulated COVID-19 safety precautions and protocols were strictly followed, the entire activity was conducted with the support of KEM Hospital, Blood Bank, Mumbai. This blood donation camp organised by M-Tech Innovations is all the more significant because blood availability for patients has been scarce. Due to the pandemic, people have been hesitating to donate blood and this has created a demand-supply imbalance.
