11 September 2024: Lab tests have certified that within 6 months, PureHT™ not only biodegrades but also composts, leaving no harmful residue or negative environmental impact at the end of its life. This has been achieved by modifying the chemical structure of the material to render it palatable to microorganisms, who are able to break down the chain, digest it and transform it into organic matter. Importantly, no compromises have been made on the technical durability and quality of the product. PureHT™ can be washed, stretched, and stressed just as much as its non-compostable counterpart without losing shape or cracking.
