ScreenSET Signs MOU with Printing Dept. of KTHM College, Nashik

20 June 2023: Prashant Sardeshmukh, Director of ScreenSET, Pune recently conducted a one-hour introductory seminar at Printing Department, K.T.H.M. College, Nashik and the topic was ‘Opportunities, Avenues and Future Scope in Advanced Screen Printing’ where he elaborated on the various aspects, market demand, patterns, etc. The seminar was attended by 140+ students who greatly appreciated the insights shared. They felt much more enlightened with the knowledge and information provided. It was followed by a Q&A interaction where the students asked their queries and received guidance from the Director of ScreenSET.

Following this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. R. D. Darekar, Principal of KTHM College, Nashik and by Prashant Sardeshmukh, Director, ScreenSET, Pune. MoU mentions that for a period of 5 years, the final year printing students of KTHM College will be trained for one month at ScreenSET Pune premises and later on, helped to get proper placement in screen printing units.

Prof. Rahul Pagare of KTHM College, said, “We are happy to work with ScreenSET as screen printing has vast applications in many of the upcoming segments like printing electronics, fuel cell technology, solar panels, glass printing, medical patches and so on. The specialized knowledge and firsthand experience they gain will help KTHM College students get their career started in the right direction after graduating.”

Prashant Sardeshmukh, said, “At ScreenSET we are committed to train NextGen printers and help the industrial screen printing segment, which is growing at very fast speed. The goal is to tackle the problem faced by screen printing units, which is not getting properly trained staff. We want to provide a helping hand by getting the right people at the right place.”
