Ropes Tech Introduces Tabletop LED UV Curing & Expose Box for PCBs
21 December 2021: First of all, one must congratulate Heemansh Khanke, Founder-Director of Pune based start-up firm, Ropes Tech (P) Ltd. who successfully introduced their new LED based UV curing system and Screen Exposure for PCB industry despite the ongoing pandemic. It may be noted that the company was established 5 years ago and when the company was in its nascent stage (3 years), the big bang lockdown locked his dream. Many businesses would have shut down out of uncertainty but this young entrepreneur did not lose confidence. He rather engaged in fine-tuning the products and was waiting for an opportune moment to showcase on the right platform as products such as UV curing or Exposure cannot be effectively promoted only on an online platform.
Finally, the new tabletop LED curing and exposing machine was showcased at the recently concluded IPCA Expo which was concurrently held along with electronica/productronica shows in Bengaluru. Their stall was receiving a continuous flow of visitors all three days owing to the attractive and compact Curing machine.““Being an electronic engineer, Heemansh Khanke is optimistic about the success of his screen printing solutions for the PCB industry in line with the promising future of the Indian electronics industry.
The 12-inch x 1 meter LED UV curing machine can cure 300 mm PCB with max thickness up to 3.2 mm. Weighing just 50 kg, the machine is made of high-grade aluminium extrusion and runs in a single phase. The UV curing system has a board sensor for current calculation and fault detection. It is fitted with an OLED port for debugging and calibration and a semiconductor switch. “It is a good budget UV curing machine for small PCB manufacturers. It consumes less energy and is good for the environment,” says Khanke.
“On the other hand, the company has also introduced a new energy-saving/less maintenance UV exposure module with different circuit exposing and PISM exposing time. The company also offers bigger size UV Exposure for large PCBs. In addition, the company also offers UV screen exposing lamp with 600 x 600 m screen exposing area. It can replace the existing UV mercury lamp of PCB units.
Ropes Tech (P) Ltd. was established in 2017. They started their journey with RUD in PCB, special purpose machines, embedded electronic systems. Currently, the company is focusing on the Maharashtra market and plans are being chalked out to expand its presence all over India.
