Propaperprintpack Africa 2022 to Take Place in October 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya
16 March 2022: Propaperprintpack Africa ’22, a Trade Fair for Paper, Printing, Packaging, Raw Material and Converting industry, is scheduled to be held on 5-7 October 2022 at the Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi, Kenya.
There will be ‘India Pavilion’ hosted by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and Egypt Pavilion by the Egyptian Export Council for Printing, Packaging, Paper, Literary & Artistic Works. Propaperprintpack Africa ’22 is a twin show being organised by Verifair, Dubai, which combines PROPAPER Africa and PROPRINTPACK Africa.
It is of its kind platform for regional and global paper, printing and packaging industry and suppliers. Visitors can explore business expansion into newer markets and particularly, the potential of the high growth geography of Africa.
According to the organisers’ report, Africa’s 54 countries have an average annual growth of close to 5%. With a population of 1.2 billion, Africa presents a market for the paper industry across its different verticals, stretching from tissue papers on the hygiene front to packaging to corrugated paperboards, among others.
On the other hand, Kenya the host country of the exhibition has a robust presence in the paper industry of Africa. There are top-tier companies with manufacturing expertise spanning from tissue papers, paper recyclers, and pulp products to packaging products. Kenya’s capital Nairobi is a regional hub for trade and over the years has attracted global attention for innovation, technology and finance. Nairobi is also emerging as Africa’s financial centre and a conduit for trade in the region.
