Pankaj Bhardwaj of Avery Dennison wins ET Asian Business Leader of the Year Award
25 February 2021: Pankaj Bhardwaj, Vice President and General Manager, Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials SAARC, has been conferred with the Asian Business Leader of the Year Award by The Economic Times. Pankaj Bhardwaj is responsible for driving strategic and operational business initiatives to achieve growth, productivity and profitability for ‘Label and Graphic Materials’ business in India and other SAARC countries.
Commenting on the recognition, Pankaj Bhardwaj, said “Thanks everyone and Economic Times for the recognition. I am proud to lead super talented team at Avery Dennison. I am truly humbled by this recognition. The fact remains that I am only as good as my team.”
He has more than 21 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, key account management and business management. Prior to joining Avery Dennison in 2012, he has worked for Asian Paints, 3M and Akzo Nobel in various capacities.
Expressing about his views about the future strategy, post Covid-19, he said ”Behind us is no ordinary dusk. It is the one that brings the curtains down on arguably the most dramatic year in the living human memory. It’s been stressful to most, traumatic to many and different to all. Withstanding all the headwinds, this dusk is a preamble to a new beginning that glimmers in hope and reiterates immutable human grit.”
