Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) Celebrates India’s 78th Independence Day

21 August 2024: The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with unparalleled enthusiasm and a spirit of patriotism at its South City office in Ludhiana. The event, a vivid tribute to the nation’s enduring legacy, brought together the printing community to honour the sacrifices that have shaped the country’s journey to freedom.

The day’s celebration began with the proud unfurling of the national flag by Parveen Aggarwal, President of OPA, as the national anthem reverberated through the gathering, instilling a sense of unity and pride. In his inspiring address, Mr. Aggarwal underscored the pivotal role of the printing industry in nation-building, calling for continued dedication to the ideals of unity and progress. “On this day, we not only celebrate our freedom but also our shared responsibility in shaping a brighter future for our nation,” he stated.

Adding to the momentous occasion, Gagandeep Singh, Vice President of OPA, delivered a stirring speech on the enduring legacy of India’s independence. “Independence Day reminds us of the resilience and indomitable spirit of our forefathers. As torchbearers of the printing industry, it is our privilege and duty to craft the narratives that reflect the values of freedom, democracy, and integrity,” Singh emphasized.

The event was graced by the presence of several other distinguished members of the association, including Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, Hans Raj Chora, Manoj Kumar, Nitin Malik, Rohan Oberai, Manvir Inder Singh, Dalip Chopra and Amrinder Singh, whose participation added depth and significance to the celebration.

The ceremony concluded with a renewed pledge from all attendees to continue striving for excellence in the printing industry, while steadfastly upholding the principles of independence and democracy. The Offset Printers’ Association extends its warmest Independence Day greetings to all citizens, reaffirming its commitment to the nation’s progress and prosperity.
