ITPO Organises Familiarization Tour of New IECC at Pragati Maidan for ICPB Members
01 August 2023: India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) organized a familiarization tour for India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB) members on 31st July 2023, to experience the facilities of the newly developed International Exhibition cum Convention Centre (IECC) at Pragati Maidan.
The Convention Centre named as ‘Bharat Mandapam’ and was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 26th July 2023. ICPB officials and 23 members attended the FAM Tour.
The FAM Tour commenced with a detailed presentation by Vivekanand Vivek, Deputy General Manager, ITPO on the facilities of the venue, capacity of the halls / meeting rooms, rental of the halls etc. for a better understanding of the venue offerings to propose to prospective meeting planners.
Thereafter, the members were taken for a tour of the Meeting Rooms, Auditoriums, Plenary Hall, Multi-Functional Halls, Amphitheatre, G20 Summit Meeting Room to experience the world class convention and exhibition infrastructure / facilities, elegant décor and ambiance.
With the state-of-the-art convention exhibition facilities in the heart of Delhi, the familiarization tour of Bharat Mandapam updated the ICPB stakeholders of the new MICE facilities, making Delhi an even more attractive destination for prestigious international and domestic congresses / exhibitions, meetings and events.
