Get set go … National Toy Fair to take place from Feb 27 to 03 March 2021
02 January 2021: Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts in association with Ministry of MSME, is gearing up to host a virtual National Toy Fair during 27th Feb to 03rd March 2021. This is in line with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision that everyone should “team up for toys” with the focus on the theme of AtmaNirbhar Bharat to promote Indian toy industry including handicrafts and handmade toy products. A National Action Plan for Indian Toy Story has been made with collaboration of 14 Ministries/ Dept. of Govt. of India. A need-based interventions have been sanctioned for overall development of toy industry in 13 identified handicrafts toy clusters.
National Toy Fair will feature are several product categories such as: Educational Toys, Youth Electronics, Building and Construction, Building and Construction, Infant Toys, Outdoor Games and Toys, Traditional Toys, Toys for all ages, Toys across all categories, Innovative Toys, Toy Banks and Toy Libraries, Vehicles (powered), Dolls and other similar toys, Online Gaming, Musical Instruments, Special Toys for Specially Challenged Children, Sustainable Toys, Back to School Category.
EPCH has invited Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in toy manufacturing to participate in the Toy fair.
