Manubhai Sheth was last seen by the industry members at the 2022 edition of CMAI Fab Show, where Screen Art and Graphics, showcased their wide range of innovative products. His presence was an inspiration to the generation next entrepreneurs who were visiting their stall. His two sons Milan and Samir are also pioneers, and taking Manubhai’s legacy forward. They are joined by his grandchildren Neil, who is taking care of business work and Pearl, managing operations and manufacturing, as the third generation in the family business.
Milan Sheth, sharing details of his father’s journey over the years, said, “He is considered the ‘father of heat transfer & garment labels & accessories segment in India.’ He started manufacturing these products in India 62 years ago, in the year 1962, when there were not much technology and techniques available. Screen Art and Graphics stands today as market leaders and providers of screen printing solutions in India due to his vision, foresightedness and commitment to quality, and reputation for reliability, quality, and affordability. We have become a go-to destination for businesses, designers and enthusiasts alike.”
“From the last 8-10 years our father was more focused on social activities. He was actively involved in many community projects, helping people and guiding them by sharing his ideas on how it could be better implemented. He was a soft spoken, down to earth person with love, care and compassion. As a father he had given us full liberty, confidence and his guidance to move ahead in business. He was always there showing us the way, trusting our decisions and strategy,”
“He always provided us with positive energy and inputs. It was his dream project to move to the most ultra-modern production /manufacturing facility and shortly we will be fulfilling it by moving to our new production facility near Mumbai,” Milan Sheth shared.
He was a well-wisher of Screen Print India magazine and Exhibitions and always made a point to visit the same. The Screen Printing industry members have very fond memories of their interactions with the late Manubhai Sheth and will indeed, miss him and his experience-based guidance going forward.
May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.
