FIMOR donates 10,000 EUR to UNICEF for India for Covid-19 emergency
29 June 2021: Dr. Yasmin Haque, UNICEF representative in India, has been emphasizing that the deadly surge in COVID-19 cases is placing an enormous strain on health and critical care facilities in this country. Urgent action is needed to avoid more tragic loss of life. In response to this appeal, FIMOR, a polyurethane manufacturer based in Le Mans, known worldwide for its Serilor® brand screen printing squeegees, has decided to donate 10,000 euros to UNICEF to support the COVID-19 emergency in India.
This will finance a solar fridge and 2 oxygen concentrators. A communication from FIMOR states “Being commercially present in India, FIMOR feels all the more solidarity with the victims of this tragedy as personal relationships have been forged with its local partners for years. This wave of solidarity is part of a larger UNICEF project so that we can all come out of this global health crisis as quickly as possible, wherever we are. Together, across borders, we will defeat this pandemic. You too can act by donating. Support UNICEF !”
