ESMA’s Screen Print Innovations (SPI) to Reconnect the Screen Community – New Show to be held from June 3-5, 2025 at Messe Essen, Germany

19 October 2024: Screen printing has a new home. On June 3-5, 2025 at Messe Essen, Germany, print system developers, ink and other consumables producers, integrators, distributors, value-added resellers, print manufacturers and product owners will meet for the first time at Screen Print Innovations (SPI). This brand-new show promotes screen and pad as a process and opens its doors to both suppliers and users of the technology, the leading technology in various industrial, functional and textile applications.

“Although seasoned, screen and pad printing keep on evolving and advancing in terms of precision, automation and quality. Applications across different market segments drive continual innovation. The key is disseminating that innovation,” says Peter Buttiens, CEO of ESMA, the European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association, organiser of SPI. “We build on the experience of our members and know-how accumulated in over thirty years of our service to the industry. Together we have recognised the need for a format which will present the latest developments and discuss the power of expanding, adapting or combining for specific market requirements.”

Among SPI’s launch partners are world leading suppliers of industrial screen print, such as Drop, Fimor, GPE A. Ardenghi, Grafco, Grünig, Kissel+Wolf, Lüscher Technologies, Pröll, PVF Mesh & Screen Technology, RK Siebdrucktechnik, Saati, Sefar, SignTronic, Sport PrintLab, SPS TechnoScreen, Sun Chemical, Thieme and VFP Ink Technologies. Altogether more than 70 exhibitors and thousands of visitors are expected in the modern facilities of Messe Essen.

“The event is pursuing ambitious goals with which we at Messe Essen fully identify. We are convinced that Essen is the ideal location for the SPI and that it will develop excellently with us,” commented Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen.

As screen printing remains the technology of choice for most industrial and high-tech applications, Screen Print Innovations applies a horizontal approach. Automotive, printed electronics, Internet of Things, healthcare, luxury packaging, textiles, are only some examples of markets which are welcome to attend SPI 2025. Brand and product owners will benefit from the extreme diversity of the process and its implementation in seemingly unrelated fields. Those new to screen or pad should come to understand the capabilities of the thriving technologies.

Whether you plan to exhibit, to show your innovations to potential new customers, or learn what suppliers have to offer, Screen Print Innovations offers a solid platform for a community to reconnect and to focus on future growth.

SPI takes place on June 3-5, 2025 at the modern facilities of Messe Essen, Germany. Close cooperation with Messe Essen gives flexibility in stand design and planning. The fairground is centrally located and easily accessible in the Ruhr region, the third largest metropolitan area in Europe. The excellent transportation network ensures rapid and relaxed arrival and departure. Exhibitors and visitors from Germany and abroad can arrive by car, train, plane and caravan. Düsseldorf Airport is only 20 minutes’ drive from the venue.

Screen Print Innovations (SPI) is organised by ESMA, the European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association. Together with its partner and industry veteran, Jonathan Bultemeyer, the Association invites Screen Print India readers to join this new platform for networking and learning about the disruptive developments in screen printing across all market sectors.
