Bummer Launches Innerwear by Vending Machines

28 December 2024: Bummer has recently inaugurated India’s first vending machines for innerwear shopping at Ahmedabad Airport. The brand plans to expands vending machines to cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in the coming months. The machines offer a curated selection of Bummer’s products, including boxers, trunks and boy shorts, with an intuitive interface for easy shopping. The brand’s groundbreaking initiative aims to provide shoppers with a hassle-free experience while on the go, ensuring that buying quality innerwear is just a tap away.

The vending machines feature an intuitive interface, allowing customers to effortlessly select and purchase their perfect pair of innerwear. The products are conveniently packaged for easy travel, ensuring that busy travelers can fit their new purchases into their luggage without a hassle. In addition to the user-friendly setup, the machines integrate UPI payment options, making transactions quick and seamless.

The vending machines will offer a curated selection of Bummer’s best-selling items, including boxers, trunks, and boyshorts, all made from ultra-soft, Lenzing-certified micro-modal fabric in the brand’s signature bold prints. These products combine luxury, comfort, and sustainability, offering customers a high-quality experience with every purchase.

Sulay Lavsi, Founder and CEO of Bummer, stated, “We want buying innerwear to be as simple as picking up a bottle of water. Our goal with this launch is to increase the accessibility of high-quality pants while on the go.” He also emphasised plans to expand Bummer’s reach across India.

Earlier this year, the brand raised US$1.06 million in funding and is working toward establishing over 10,000 offline touchpoints within the next five years.
