Media Expo Mumbai Opens Today featuring innovations across signage, printing and advertising to Digital OOH and more

10 April 2025: 54th edition of Media Expo Mumbai, was inaugurated today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. It has opened the floor to path-breaking displays presenting variety of innovations in printing machinery, inks, innovative applications, digital advertising solutions and trendy signage solutions. About 135 exhibitors will display their finest solutions, keeping the show floor buzzing till 12th April 2025.

Taking audience engagement to the next level, this year’s Media Expo is all set to roll-out an exciting new highlight – “Wrap Masterclass – Vehicle Branding Live-in-Action.” This unique, live demonstration zone will bring the art and science of fleet wrapping to life, offering visitors a rare chance to watch expert installers in action. Over the span of three days, the Wrap Masterclass will not just showcase vehicle graphics – it will grant a learning experience. From techniques and tools to tricks of the trade, the sessions will cover it all, with live demos planned as follows:
– Self Adhesive Vinyl Technology for Vehicle Wrap and Live Wrap Demonstration
– Dry Pasting and Wet Pasting Techniques and Live Wrap Demonstration
– Application Tools for Vehicle Wrap and Live Wrap Demonstration
– Heat Gun and it’s effects on Wrap Films and Live Wrap Demonstration

Day one of the expo engaged the audience in three unique sessions. A session titled – ‘Maximizing Brand Visibility: The Power of Fleet Branding and Vehicle Wrapping in India’ uncovered the growth potential of fleet branding or moving billboards, showcasing innovative materials and cutting-edge printing technologies that enhance durability and ROI. Following this, the next two sessions focussed on Pantone colour systems, proper colour selection and tools that enhance precision. The last session for the day had industry experts who discussed in depth the digital colour workflow, from design to production, ensuring precise colour communication across their supply chain.

Day two will explore tech-led session titled – ‘Digital Signage Revolution – ROI and Real world Applications’. It will discover real-world success stories, the latest innovations in content management, and how AI and IoT are reshaping digital signage. Another session will delve into ‘Unfolding the Future: Revolutionizing Retail with Instant Assembly Foldable POSMs’ that will shed light on latest material innovations, real-world success stories and how sustainability and digital integration are shaping the future of retail displays. The last session for the day, Sustainable Graphics: Reducing Environmental Impact through Innovation’, will discuss the urgency of sustainable solutions in the graphics industry; the environmental impact, benefits, and challenges of alternative materials and energy-efficient processes and actionable points to reduce carbon footprint.

Besides these engaging sessions, the expo will see many new launches from the industry’s leading contributors. Expo has garnered support from Delhi Printers Association, Lucknow Printers Association and Offset Printers Association.
