06 March 2025: Future of the printing industry took centre stage at the highly anticipated Media Week for China Print 2025, held on February 25-26, 2025, at Beijing Marriott Hotel. Organized by the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC) and China Print Show Company Ltd. (CPSC), this landmark event brought together media representatives, and association leaders from 13 countries, alongside over 52 Chinese media and associations. The two-day gathering ignited enthusiasm for the upcoming China Print 2025, offering an exclusive preview of the groundbreaking innovations set to redefine the printing landscape.

The event commenced with an inspiring welcome address by Bin Yang, Vice President of PEIAC, who emphasized the boundless potential of global collaboration and innovation in the printing industry. Setting the tone for the event, he declared, “China Print 2025 is not just an exhibition; it is a testament to the limitless power of print technology. We are bringing together the best minds to explore, innovate, and push the boundaries of what print can achieve.” Following this, Kaibing Shi, General Manager of CPSC, provided a glimpse into the preparations for China Print 2025, highlighting its strong focus on digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing, and sustainability. He stated, “This event will not only showcase the latest in print technology but will serve as a catalyst for new business opportunities and global partnerships.”

The event’s international participation underscored the growing global synergy in the printing industry. Among the esteemed attendees was Professor Kamal Mohan Chopra, representing the Offset Printers Association (OPA) under the All India Federation of Printers and Packagers (AIFPP). His presence highlighted the deepening collaboration between Indian and Chinese printing industries, reinforcing the shared vision of progress and innovation. “Printing is a bridge that connects cultures, economies and ideas. Through collaboration and shared knowledge, we can elevate the global printing industry to new heights,” he remarked.

Media Week featured a series of thought-provoking presentations by renowned industry leaders, offering a compelling glimpse into the transformative technologies poised to redefine printing and packaging. Among the standout speakers were: Ms. Amy Zhu, Chief Digital Officer, Heidelberg China: Urged attendees to “Unfold Your Potential” in an era where digital transformation is the key to future leadership. Maxen Liu, General Manager of Sales, Masterwork Group Co Ltd.: Highlighted the power of intelligent manufacturing in “High-end Equipment + Intelligent Empowerment: The Core Driving Force of the Intelligent Factory.” Tommy Huang, General Manager, Koenig & Bauer Printing Machinery (Dongguan & Vietnam) Co Ltd.: Stressed the importance of speed and flexibility in “More Agility, More Choice, Efficiency.”
John Sun, Vice President of Sales, Komori (Shenzhen) Print Engineering Co Ltd.: Reinforced the enduring impact of print in “Printing Creates Value.” Susumu Miyazak, President and Masaaki Shia, Manager of Business Alliance, Horizon Japan Inc.: Encouraged fresh perspectives in “Change the Focus (Create Value).” Steel Li, Deputy Minister of Professional Printing Solutions Headquarters, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (China) Co Ltd.: Inspired the audience with “Imagine Print Possibilities.”

The Future is Now: Landa and the Smart Packaging Revolution. One of the most highly anticipated sessions was led by Max Tian, Sales Manager China, Landa Digital Printing, whose electrifying presentation, “Landa Focus China,” captivated the audience. He proclaimed, “Landa technology is rewriting the future of digital printing. This is not evolution – it’s a revolution!” Adding to the excitement, Ms. Hester Liu, Foreign Trade Manager, Zhejiang Horda Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd., unveiled a new era in packaging with “Smart Collapsible Box: The Future of Packaging.” She emphasized, “The way we package products is changing – our innovations are shaping the next generation of sustainable, intelligent packaging solutions.”

Countdown to China Print 2025 Begins The event concluded with an inspiring video presentation on China Print 2025, underscoring its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration. In his closing remarks, Mr. Bin Yang, Vice President of PEIAC, expressed gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed the exhibition’s significance. “China Print 2025 will be a landmark event that will shape the future of the printing industry. Together, we can achieve new heights of innovation and excellence.”

With the excitement sparked by Media Week, all eyes are now set on China Print 2025, scheduled to take place from May 15-19, 2025, at China International Exhibition Centre (Shunyi Hall), Beijing.
