OBITUARY: Screen Printing Industry Veteran Rajendra Surana Passes Away

24 December 2024: Rajendra Surana, the Founder and Proprietor of Kamlesh Enterprise, Nashik, Dealers of Screen Printing Inks, Materials, Papers and Related Accessories, passed away at the age of 59 years on November 2, 2024 due to a sudden heart attack. He started the business of screen printing materials and paper products in the year 1995. Now, Kamlesh Enterprise has completed 29 years and is on the verge of marking three decades.

Screen Print India extends condolences to Rajendra Surana’s wife, his daughter Saloni and son Kamlesh, who had joined the business from last 4-5 years to support his father’s entrepreneurial venture and expand the family business.

The Nashik district is well-known for its table grapes and as a result, there is a big demand for package and corrugation printing. Igatpuri-Nashik-Sinnar investment region is an important node in US$90 billion Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project. Nashik is also an established defence and aerospace and Industrial manufacturing hub with the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. aircraft manufacturing plant, as well as the Currency Note Press and India Security Press are on Nashik Road.

Due to his helping nature, knowledge of printing and providing wide variety of paper at reasonable rate with cutting facility also available, Rajendra Surana was able to gain and build trust, developing strong customer relations over the years. He was well known in the local printing industry due to his supportive and friendly nature. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti !
