Pietro Guilliani, Technical Manager, Saati Italy Conducts Two Courses at Photokina Education Centre
04 October 2024: Two courses were organised back-to-back at Photokina Education Centre at Changodar, Ahmedabad. A special session was held by Pietro Guilliani, Technical Manager Saati Italy who shared his in-depth knowledge of stencil making. In his program, he discussed about various technical parameters involved and talked about new emulsion chemistry for CTS applications, which was as per his global knowledge.
The first course was held on September 2-3, 2024 and the second course on September 5-6, 2024; both of them covered ‘Basic to Advance Screen Making.’ Each course was attended by 10 printers from all over India consisting of printed electronics, PCB, industrial screen printing and textile printing segments.

According to Jagdish Sheth, PCPL is looking forward to training and educating the screen printing technicians / industry colleagues with cutting-edge technology developments. “I am sure that the fruit of these educational efforts being done by us will be enjoyed by the whole industry in coming years. It is our contribution / commitment to PM Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Skill India’ initiative. There are gaps in understanding the basics of advanced screen making knowledge and processes which play a pivotal role in achieving the desired quality screen printed product. Moreover, new technological developments in the area of screen making and screen printing need to be imbibed in the printers; which is what inspired us to initiate the training institute,” he said.
PCPL had recently inaugurated its state-of-the-art training centre at the at the earmarked section of its factory premises at Ahmedabad and also conducted the first training program on May 2-3, 2024. For the first year, PCPL will offer free training excluding travelling cost; hotel expenses, food and training is free. It is a full-fledged experience centre where they have installed advance screen making machines, conference room for classroom sessions with power point presentations and practical sessions to demonstrate the usage of products and the processes involved in screen making.
