12 October 2023: Girish Kini was recently appointed CEO of MCT Cards & Technology (P) Ltd. Since 1997, he has been a guiding force and instrumental in creating several new business opportunities for Manipal Technologies Ltd. and growing them as large businesses for the group. His journey began with reinventing their Secure Solutions & Business Forms unit. In 2001, he launched the Telecom Scratch Cards division. In 2007, he ventured into the Tax Stamp business for the government vertical, serving more than five states in India and expanding further to the international market.
Girish led their Banking Card business since its inception in the year 2008. Girsh has been an integral part of the remarkable journey of building MCT, the largest and the only banking and smart card manufacturing company in India to provide end-to-end services to its clients. In 2015, he launched the digital automation business and today deployed more than 5,000 kiosks for banks across the country.
