Protolab Electrotechnologies Makes a ‘Global Double Impact’
22 February 2023: Protolab Electrotechnologies (P) Ltd., recently showcased its capabilities at Electronica 2022, Munich, Germany in November and once again at IPC Apex – San Diego 2023, USA.
IPC Apex 2023 had 20 participants from India housed in the Indian Pavilion, which by itself was remarkable, to demonstrate in the US market the indigenous potential of manufacturing PCB’s, EMS Solutions and Printed Electronics. Protolab demonstrated a wide range of Flexible Printed Electronics for different application with embedded active and passive components for a range of applications.
Printed Electronics has the potential to reduce cost and also helps overcome various mechanical and environmental constraints as a result of using fewer inputs materials and printed interconnects which can be profiled to give simplicity in the overall assembly. There are various solutions available in conductive ink chemistry which enables designing versatile solutions for Bio Medical products, Automotive and Integrated Interface Solutions and Sustainable Batteries and Solar Cells.

In a Hall which had over 400 participants displaying Rigid PCB, Pick and Place Solutions, Chemicals and Chemistry, Protolab exhibited Flexible Printed Electronics and EMS Solutions proudly ‘Made in India’ for a variety of applications. The response was overwhelming.
Protolab Printed Electronic Solutions are Screen Printed using Conductive Chemistries to create Electrical Devices on various substrates. Protolab has developed production efficiencies in Screen Printing to print 0.3mm line traces with a 0.3mm spacing and is manufacturing for OEM’s, on PET, PEN, TPU and Paper.
