HP introduces HP Indigo 100K Digital Press with speed @6,000 sheets per hour

25 January 2021: HP has introduced the world’s most productive B2 digital solution with true digital non-stop print capabilities, branded as HP Indigo 100K Digital Press at 6,000 sheets per hour, thus is targeted to the highest production volumes. The Press has Colour calibrating while printing due to innovative colour measurement system design. It looks like an offset press with a gripper-to-gripper architecture.

As the first HP Indigo Series 5 Digital Press from the HP Personalization and Industrialization Business, the HP Indigo 100K is designed for offset players to transition more work to digital, and boost sustainability with on-demand printing. The HP Indigo 100K Digital Press can produce deliver jobs back-to-back, with true non-stop digital print capabilities, enabling continuous feeding, continuous stacking, and continuous color calibration without interrupting production.

Other notable features are: Immediate switchover between jobs with different media types with multiple input and output media sources; Non-stop stacking; delivery with an advanced depositing unit; AI driven services with predictive capabilities for failure prevention; etc.

HP Indigo 100K Digital Press is a unique combination of HP Indigo ElectroInk, Thermal Offset Transfer and Direct Contact Transfer to print quality that looks and feels like offset. It is said to be a single technology for the broadest set of applications.
